Routine is great but can smother our sense of liveliness and make us feel bored. When boredom strikes we feel restless and it requires us to make a conscious effort to step out of our comfort zone. The best part about living in Vancouver is that a step out of your comfort zone isn’t that hard to achieve. Actually, if you are feeling bored about things and are looking for a renewed sense of interest then Pax Romana is the place to go.
🍇 Food: I had the chance to taste Pax Romana's new menu the other day. Sadly I was there for work and had to skip having a good bevy. Regardless of my inability to dabble, I took a peek at their drink list and the Carthage’s Fall cocktail will be my drink of choice next time I visit. For food, I ordered plenty to respect the true tapas way. My order included the Pequeño Pintxo, Gildas, Tatare, Lattuga, Paillot de Chevre Brulee,
Parfait, Costillas Ibericas, and Pastel De Natas for dessert. Each plate was as interesting as it sounded, offering a newness of flavours to explore. I felt beyond entertained by my meal - inevitably evaporating any sense of boredom.
🍇 Mood: Point blank you can’t feel bored inside of Pax Romana. The sexy decor and the mural of nude women in the back ensure that your neurons are happily stimulated during your visit. The stunning lengthy barside and dimmed lighting set the stage where guests are treated to not only dinner but also a culinary and mixology show. Passionate staff members buzz around the intimate space ensuring you are well captivated by every aspect that Pax Romana has to offer. An unparalleled environment for regaining your sense of appetito vien mangiando.
Feeling bored is a lack of satisfaction and luckily for us, Pax Romana offers everything we need to feel satisfied. So, next time you are feeling dull you now know exactly where to go and what to eat to solve those silly feelings of boredom.
